Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Restoration Technician to join our team. This role involves restoring and repairing properties affected by water, fire, mold, or other damages. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in cleaning, construction, or restoration is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in the restoration industry while making a positive impact on clients’ lives.
Duties
- Perform water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration services efficiently and safely
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove damaged materials and prepare sites for repair or reconstruction
- Conduct cleaning and sanitation of affected areas to ensure a safe environment for occupants
- Assist with demolition and construction tasks as needed during restoration projects
- Document work progress and communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout projects
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment necessary for restoration tasks
Requirements
- Prior experience with cleaning, hand tools, power tools, construction, or restoration is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various project requirements
- Ability to follow safety guidelines at all times to ensure personal and team safety
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
