Position Overview:
The Guest Experience Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and presentation of our Airbnb and vacation rental properties. You will ensure each home is spotless, thoughtfully staged, and fully guest-ready—delivering a warm welcome with every clean. Our homes span across all of Muskoka, from Huntsville, Dwight, Lake of Bays, Bracebridge, Bala, Fraserburg and Muskoka Lakes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive to different locations on your own or with a team member
- Perform detailed cleaning of rental properties, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living and outdoor spaces
- Change linens, make beds, and restock amenities
- Stage and organize spaces to create a warm, inviting atmosphere
- Report damages, maintenance issues, or inventory shortages promptly
- Follow cleaning checklists and property-specific turnover instructions
- Ensure all properties meet our high standards for cleanliness and presentation
- Communicate effectively with the operations team for scheduling and updates
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping, hospitality, or professional cleaning experience preferred but not necessary. We look for enthusiastic and hard working team members willing to give it their all and experience is not a must.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable transportation and smartphone required
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Familiarity with short-term rentals or Airbnb is a plus
