Job Overview
Bushwood Golf Club is seeking friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Food & Beverage Servers to join our team. Servers play an important role in providing exceptional service to members and guests throughout the clubhouse, restaurant, patio, and golf course. This position involves serving guests dining on our outdoor patio and in the restaurant, as well as providing refreshments and beverage service to golfers during their rounds. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Duties
- Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently
- Provide beverage and refreshment service to golfers on the course when required
- Ensure guests receive outstanding customer service and respond promptly to requests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment
- Set up, clear, clean, and reset tables in the restaurant and patio areas
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily service duties
- Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately
- Promote menu features, daily specials, and beverage offerings
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and clubhouse staff to ensure smooth service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, dining areas, and patio spaces
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, golf club, or customer service experience is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service focus with a positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize during busy service periods
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Smart Serve Certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
Pay: $17.20-$26.68 per hour
