Department Overview
The TD Wealth Shared Services (“WSS”) Wealth Data & Analytics team is responsible for Pan-Wealth sales, performance management/coaching and informational needs that can be addressed through production reporting and providing value added business/data insights, intelligence, ideas, advice, or support.
The team provides the holistic Pan-Wealth lens towards effective, agile, scalable, and efficient reporting and insights services to support the businesses and leaders. The Wealth businesses include Private Wealth Management, Financial Planning, Direct Investing, TD Mutual Funds and Operations.
Job Description
About this Role
The role requires strong data analytical skills and working knowledge of business intelligence tools, paired with advanced problem-solving skills and a keen business acumen to provide accurate reporting, analysis, and value-added business insights to support one or more lines of business within TD Wealth.
The analyst will work closely with business partners, fellow team members, and the Delivery Leads to define and document business and user requirements, source data, and design and deliver end-to-end accurate and timely data-driven solutions.
The analyst will also be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing existing reports and dashboards.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide specialized end-to-end reporting support and business insights for one or more business partners.
Develop and deliver specialized data-driven solution such as dashboards from multiple data sources such as enterprise data infrastructure, localized data marts and other data sources.
Review, analyze and understand the data and data sources to ensure that all business requirements are met, and that reporting is comprehensive and accurate.
Evaluate and optimize existing business processes to improve accuracy, stability, and timeliness of deliveries
Maintain documentation processes using required standards and participate in cross-training to support business continuity planning.
Comply with all compliance/audit requirements with respect to process documentation and best practices
Requirements

Share your most relevant experience, credentials and knowledge for this role, as well as these essential requirements and attributes:
3-5 years of relevant experience in a data analyst, data engineering or reporting role.
Advanced data analytics and visualization skills.
Strong data visualization skills using a BI tool such as Tableau or PowerBI.
Strong and advanced skills using SQL, Python or PySpark.
Demonstrated ability to work with different data sources and formats.
Ability to do detailed code reviews and give thoughtful feedback.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to critically evaluate issues and find optimal solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to influence individuals at different levels of the organization.
Excellent presentation skills to create visually appealing, persuasive, effective presentations.
Highly organized and able to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities simultaneously and efficiently
Nice to have
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms.
Experience with Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
Working knowledge of source code control tool such as GIT or bitbucket
Education
University/College education with focus on business, finance, statistics, engineering, or equivalent work experience

This job is hybrid with minimum of 2-3 days work from office.
