We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. This role involves educating children, supporting their development, and following engaged lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
Duties
- Ability to follow the curriculum that's implemented to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment for infant.
- Educate children through play-based learning activities that encourage exploration and creativity.
- Assess children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development.
- Communicate effectively with management/supervisor and caregivers regarding infant's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all infants.
- Support infant room's positive environment by actively smiling and positive approach.
- Foster a love for learning by encouraging curiosity and critical thinking in infants.
Skills
- Proven experience working with infants in an educational or childcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
- Proven ability to communicate with management.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English; proficiency in additional languages such as French is a plus.
- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)
- Over 2years+ experience in a childcare setting.
- Strong writing skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- Experience working with children and implementing corrective changes through positive approaches.
- Energetic, positive, smiles constantly, high stamina.
Job Type: Part-Time to potential Full-Time hours.
