About the Role
As a Community Engagement Provider (CEP), you are the heart of our work—the person creating real impact in clients’ daily lives. You’ll provide direct, in-person support in homes and throughout the community, helping individuals engage, build skills, and work toward their personal goals.
This is a flexible, independent contractor role where you choose the clients and schedule that fit your availability.

What You’ll Do
- Build individualized, strengths-based programming tailored to each client
- Support development in social, emotional, cognitive, and physical areas
- Adapt activities based on client needs, interests, and goals
- Track progress and adjust plans as needed
- Communicate and collaborate with families and caregivers
- Foster inclusion, confidence, and community participation
What You Bring
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Confidence with basic computer tools and documentation
Ideal Background
- Experience (minimum 1 year) supporting individuals with disabilities or mental health challenges
- Post-secondary education (completed or in progress) in a related field, such as:
- Recreation Therapy or Leisure Services
- Child & Youth Work
- Social Work or Social Service Work
- Developmental Services
- Early Childhood Education
- Psychology or Counselling
- Disability Studies or similar
Requirements
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification
- Vulnerable Sector Check (within the past 12 months)
- Reliable transportation (required)
