Class 3 or 1 Driver - Recycle, Front End & Roll Off Trucks
Coastal Mountain Disposal is currently seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Class 3 or 1 Driver for our Recycle, Front End & Roll Off trucks to join our team in Whistler. 2 years driving experience preferred.
This is a locally based position - ideal for candidates already residing in Whistler or the Sea to Sky corridor.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate all equipment and vehicles
- Ensure the proper loading, unloading and disposal of waste
- Able to maneuver trucks in tight spaces
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Familiar with all serviceable equipment & truck maintenance, size & weight restrictions of equipment
- Working knowledge of residential, commercial, construction site safety, and road safety regulations
- Physically demanding
- Organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Good judgement and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Maintain a valid class 3 or class 1 BC driver’s license with air brake endorsement
- Provide Clean drivers abstract
- Strong Safety record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working & driving in all weather conditions
- Able to lift up to 50lbs and move heavy equipment
Hours of Work
- Days of the week TBD – weekend availability required
- Part-time, with potential to move to full-time
- Statutory holidays availability required
- Overtime may be required
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate $35.00 - $40.00
