Tribal Expression is a professional body piercing studio and jewelry manufacturer based in Calgary. We specialize in crafting high-quality titanium and niobium body jewelry and are looking for a skilled CNC & Swiss Turn Operator to join our in-house production team.
Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC and Swiss turning machines for precision body jewelry production.
- Manufacture titanium and niobium pieces with exceptional attention to detail and quality.
- Manage production schedules, ensuring pieces are made efficiently and on time.
- Work independently to complete daily and weekly production goals.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Assist with general jewelry production tasks, including finishing, polishing, and quality control.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following studio standards for safety and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating CNC and/or Swiss turning machines (jewelry, dental, or precision machining background an asset).
- Strong programming skills and ability to read technical drawings.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on precision craftsmanship.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of titanium and niobium machining preferred but not required (training can be provided).
- Team-oriented with a willingness to support broader jewelry production processes.
