Duties
- Assist in supervising daily deli operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards.
- Support staff training and development to ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
- Support shift management by delegating tasks, and maintaining smooth workflow during busy hours.
- Uphold food safety standards by implementing proper handling procedures, sanitation practices, and compliance with health regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within quick service or fast food restaurant settings.
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in hospitality or restaurant management.
- Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, culinary techniques, and kitchen management practices.
