Business Development Executive – Industrial Sales - (Pitt Meadows) BC - $90 to 100K base + Commissions, Car Allowance + Full Benefits
Our client, a leader in their industry is looking for Business Development Executive to accelerate new customer acquisition and revenue growth. This is a true HUNTER ROLE.
You will identify high-potential prospects, build strong relationships, and position their solutions to meet their business needs. As a key member of our B2B sales team, you will help expand their customer base and drive market penetration. VALUE SELLING, Discipline Sales Process, CRM Management!
Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition
- Identify, qualify, and secure new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital outreach.
- Execute strategic sales plans and build a strong pipeline.
- Lead discovery meetings, understand customer needs, and deliver tailored proposals and presentations.
Pipeline & Sales Execution
- Maintain accurate CRM tracking and forecasting.
- Manage deals through the full sales cycle and consistently close business.
- Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market gaps to refine strategy and uncover new opportunities.
- Lead pricing and contract discussions to win profitable deals.
- Support smooth onboarding and early customer success.
- Partner with marketing, category management, operations, and customer service to execute campaigns and support new accounts.
- Track KPIs and adjust strategies based on data and customer feedback.
- Build early relationships with new accounts to support strong start-up and transition.
Qualifications
Education
- Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Minimum 3 + years new business development experience. Industrial sales experience preferred. Manufacturing, construction, food processing industries are an asset.
