Primary Responsibilities:
Consulting, quoting and achieving sales goals by placing customer orders.
Qualifications and Skills
· Achieve sales goals by consulting customers with technical and commercial information
· Encourage the client to go beyond their initial need and requirement
· Continuously generate sales by quoting according to customer specifications and personal recommendations
· Following up on customer quotations through regular telephone contact
· Maintain customer contact through occasional onsite visits
· Accurately cost items based on guidelines provided by Operations
· Create sales orders in the ERP system
· Re-connect with past customers based on the review of historic sales
· Access and provide product availability information
· Correspond with customers, dealers, purchasers and sales representatives
· Suggest and implement LEAN ideas to improve the department processes
· Generate the best possible business experience for our customer
· Work in a safe manner by adhering to all Company Health & Safety policies and Legislated Regulations
· And all other duties as required
Qualifications and Skills
· Post-Secondary Education or minimum of 3 years equivalent work experience. Bilingual in French would be an asset.
