Job Summary
The Exploits Valley Y is seeking a reliable,skilled and motivated Handyman to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining safe, clean and welcoming facilities for our members, staff and community.
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and routine maintenance throughout Y facilities.
- Complete basic carpentry,painting,plumbing electrial,and drywall repairs as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and identify potential issues.
- Assemble and install fixtured, equipment, and furnishings.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain outdoor areas and assist with seasonal tasks when required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable regulations and Y standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
