Job Summary
Silvercreek Wellness is seeking a passionate and patient-focused Naturopathic Doctor to join our collaborative wellness clinic. We are committed to providing integrative, holistic care that supports long-term health, prevention, and root-cause healing. The ideal candidate will deliver individualized naturopathic treatments while working alongside a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed health histories and physical evaluations
- Develop personalized, evidence-informed naturopathic treatment plans
- Provide therapies such as clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, lifestyle counseling, and supplementation
- Educate patients on preventive care, lifestyle changes, and long-term wellness strategies
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize results
- Maintain accurate and compliant patient documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care
- Stay current with advancements in naturopathic medicine and best practices
Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) from an accredited institution
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta
- Successful completion of required licensing exams (e.g., NPLEX)
- Strong understanding of holistic and preventative healthcare approaches
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
Scope of Practice (Alberta)
- Provide natural and holistic treatments focused on prevention and root-cause care
- May perform certain regulated therapies depending on training and certification
- Work within provincial guidelines under the Health Professions Act
