Shifts are Tuesday - Saturday (days off Sunday and Monday)
** Must be able to work at least two day shifts for training in rooms
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Evening Public Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas within the hotel. This position plays a key role in ensuring guests experience a clean, welcoming, and well-maintained environment. The role also supports housekeeping and front desk operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Public Area Cleaning
- Clean and maintain hotel public spaces including lobby, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairwells, fitness areas, pool area and other common areas
- Vacuum, mop, dust, polish, and sanitize surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Monitor and restock restroom supplies
- Ensure all areas meet hotel cleanliness and safety standards
Meeting & Event Support
- Set up meeting rooms according to event specifications
- Rearrange tables, chairs, and equipment as needed
- Clean and reset meeting spaces after events
- Report any damage or maintenance needs
Housekeeping Support
- Clean guest rooms as needed during busy periods
- Stock housekeeping carts with linens, towels, and supplies
- Assist with laundry operations as needed (wash, dry, fold, organize linens)
Guest Service & Front Desk Support
- Deliver guest-requested items to rooms (extra towels, amenities, etc.)
- Assist front desk staff with special requests when needed
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.40 per hour
