Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination
- Serve food to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking supplies
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation
- Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Experience working in the food industry, particularly in kitchen settings, is advantageous
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
