Job Description
Right at Home is urgently seeking an experienced, highly skilled Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses to join our team on a casual basis to support community-based nursing and complex care visits across Brantford/ Paris Ontario
The ideal candidate must have reliable transportation and strong hands-on experience delivering nursing care in home and community settings. This is a great opportunity for nurses who enjoy independence and variety in their work.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor changes in patient condition
- Measure and document vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, respirations)
- Administer medications safely and accurately, including IM, SC, and IV routes
- Provide diabetes management, including blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration
- Initiate, maintain, and discontinue peripheral IVs (PIV) as required
- Initiate and manage IV therapies and hydration where applicable
- Perform wound assessments and provide wound care treatments
- Manage enteral feeds (PEG, NG, and tube feeding systems)
- Provide tracheostomy care and suctioning
- Provide care for ostomies and surgical drains
- Manage urinary catheters and monitor for complications
- Support patients with chest tube monitoring where applicable
- Educate clients and families on care plans, treatments, and equipment
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational standards

- Active nursing license and registration in good standing with CNO(required)
