For more than 65 years, Keir Plumbing & Heating Ltd. has provided trusted commercial plumbing, heating, HVAC, and mechanical services throughout Winnipeg. We're growing and are looking for an experienced Boiler Technician / Gasfitter to join our team.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose, service, repair, and install commercial boiler systems.
- Service high-efficiency boilers, hydronic heating systems, pumps, valves, expansion tanks, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot natural gas and propane-fired appliances and heating systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on commercial mechanical systems.
- Complete combustion analysis and system performance testing.
- Install and commission new boiler and heating equipment.
- Respond to emergency service calls when required.
- Complete digital work orders and service reports using our field management software.
- Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and facility managers.
- Follow all safety procedures and applicable codes and regulations.
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Plumber and/or Licensed Gasfitter (Level A or B preferred).
- Experience servicing commercial boiler and hydronic heating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Experience with commercial mechanical rooms.
- Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Boiler commissioning experience is considered an asset.
- Backflow certification or HVAC experience is an asset but not required.
