Duties
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment around the work site
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up tools and supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople by holding materials, mixing substances, or performing basic tasks as directed
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Perform general site cleanup, including waste removal and debris management
- Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision to support construction activities
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues immediately to supervisors
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Prior experience in construction or manual labour is a plus but not required—training will be provided
- Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to adhere strictly to safety guidelines
- Reliable transportation to reach job sites as required
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
