Overview
We are seeking Punjabi and Hindi speaking dedicated HCA with Car to join our team for Calgary, Chestermere and Conrich locations in providing exceptional care to individuals in home care environments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and possess the skills necessary to support our clients with their daily activities while ensuring their comfort and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
- Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or caregiver.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and team members to enhance the quality of care.
Experience
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care is preferred.
- Familiarity with hospice care or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Experience in dementia care or home care settings is highly valued.
- Strong caregiving skills with an understanding of patient needs and preferences.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks effectively while maintaining a respectful environment for clients.
- Canadian driving license and car is must.

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
