The Position: Biologist/Avian Bird Sweeper
Type: Seasonal, Part-Time (This is a temporary position from June - September 2026)
Compensation: $30-$34/hour depending on experience

Wright Tree Service, a business unit of Wright Canada Holdings, provides vegetation management, storm restoration, and work planning services to utility companies and their communities across North America.
Role Description:
Plan and implement breeding bird and nest surveys across Manitoba
Act as contractor liaison
Prepare summaries of results (i.e. letter reports)
Complete fieldwork in other disciplines as needed
Work effectively in a team environment
Requirements:
Degree in biology or Avian Bird Sweeper certification
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency in Excel
Valid Class 5 Driver's License and a Driver's abstract
Ability to work alone in remote areas across Manitoba
