Job Summary

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing delicious treats, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Duties
- Prepare and serve ice cream, sundaes, and other menu items with attention to quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately
- Handle cash and perform cashiering duties with integrity and attention to detail
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and upselling products to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning properly throughout shifts
- Assist in food handling procedures, ensuring proper hygiene practices are followed at all times
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without compromising quality
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, sanitation standards, and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and the ability to engage positively with guests
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak hours
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Basic kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or equipment as needed
