Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Residential and Commercial Construction Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing a variety of construction tasks across residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple aspects of construction, including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, and the operation of heavy equipment. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute project specifications accurately.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to complete various construction tasks.
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and restoration work to ensure durable and aesthetically pleasing results.
- Install cabinets, flooring, tiles, and perform electrical and plumbing work as required.
- Conduct construction painting, caulking, masonry work, welding, and other finishing tasks to meet project standards.
- Assist in estimating project costs and materials based on schematics and plans.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on-site.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate project execution.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, masonry, carpentry, electrical systems, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and painting.
- Ability to interpret construction estimates and schematics for various trades.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces. Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
