Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role requires strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a passion for hospitality. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly valued to assist a diverse guest population.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing needs promptly and courteously
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest information, and billing details
- Respond to guest inquiries about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
- Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety and security for all guests
Requirements
- Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality preferred; hotel experience is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual skills are highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Knowledge of front desk systems and hotel management software is advantageous
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required
