Additional Information:
The Educational Interventionist is part of a school team effectively supporting students in the Divisional priorities of Numeracy, Literacy, Connectivity and Careers. Educational Interventionists, with the support of a classroom teacher, work with students in classrooms in the areas of literacy and numeracy. We are looking for a Foundations Interventionist who is committed to working collaboratively in a team environment. Training will be provided to support student learning goals through targeted intervention programming.
Start Date: September 2, 2026
EA Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Diploma
- Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent
- A positive attitude and exceptional work ethic
- Demonstrates a willingness to work positively within a team setting
- Interest in learning and growing in a professional atmosphere
- Previous experience working with children
- Respectful of confidentiality within the school community
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience
- Benefits will be provided after 90 calendar days of employment
