MJD Electrical Supply is looking for a versatile, hardworking, and tech-savvy individual to join our team in a dynamic, all-in-one role. This position starts as part-time with an excellent opportunity to grow into a permanent, full-time career. This role balances physical warehouse and counter work with digital marketing tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesHeavy Inventory & Restocking: Unload heavy incoming supplier shipments, lift and carry large commercial boxes, verify packing slips, and manually restock heavy electrical components and bulk cable spools on storefront and warehouse shelves.Cashier & Counter Service: Greet electrical contractors, scan parts, process payments accurately, and manage front-counter inquiries.Ad Creation & Marketing: Design digital flyers, create social media posts (Instagram/Facebook) to attract local contractors, and help launch sales promotions.Qualifications & Physical RequirementsHeavy Lifting: Must be physically capable of regularly lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving heavy items (up to 50+ lbs) throughout the shift.Age Requirement: Must be of legal adult age to manage business operations independently.Retail Experience: Experience operating a retail Point of Sale (POS) system and handling cash.Tech Skills: Familiarity with basic design apps (like Canva) or social media management to create simple advertisements.Flexibility: Ability to start on a part-time basis and scale up to full-time availability.Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of electrical parts, commercial building supplies, or tools is a strong asset.
Pay: $17.60 per hour
