Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Full Book-Keeping and QuickBooks Data entry
- Using Microsoft office, mainly (Work, Excel).
- Answering phone calls, email, and looking after office needs
- Prepare cheques, payments and bank deposits
- Prepare and process payroll
- Calculate and prepare tax payments ( i.e. GST/PST/RST/WSIB)
- Issue financial statements
- Calculate and issue financial analysis of the financial statements
- Maintain the chart of accounts
- Maintain complete filing system to support financial records
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and experience with QuickBooks accounting software is required.
- Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures
- Proven bookkeeping experience-solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting
- Knowledge of Corporate and Personal taxes
- Knowledge of T2 and T1
Key Qualifications:
- Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field
- 1+ years of experience of responsible accounting/bookkeeping
- Prior experience in Business Management an asset
