Overview:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Journeyman Electrician or 2-5th Year Apprentice Electrician. This is an excellent opportunity to gain or continue your hands-on experience and learn from experienced professionals in the electrical field. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will assist with various electrical tasks and projects, while developing your skills and knowledge in the industry. CLEAN DRIVING RECORD AND VALID G LICENSE IS REQUIRED!!!
Duties:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to ensure accurate and efficient work
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks
- Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving to identify electrical issues
- Assembly and installation of electrical components
- Collaborate with journeyman/journeywoman electricians to learn new techniques and best practices
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Skills:
- Knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in electrical work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills in the electrical field
Preferred Skills (not required):
- Experience working with low voltage systems
- Previous exposure to residential, commercial and industrial electrical work
This is a paid position. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
