Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cook working the Closing shift 4:30pm-12:30am. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the food industry, with experience in serving, food preparation, and kitchen operations
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items following established recipes and standards
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Closing procedures including cleaning of equipment, sweeping, mopping, cleaning dishes and garbage remove at end of shift
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service areas
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and storage
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to perform tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic cooking skills with an understanding of meal preparation techniques
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service and high-quality food experiences
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
