We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sport Medicine Physician to join our team at Trucare Minor Injury & Sport Medicine Clinic located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialized medical care focused on sports-related injuries, injury prevention, and overall physical health. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for patient-centered care and sports medicine. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Trucare Minor Injury & Sport Medicine Clinic is a full-service, injury associated clinic offering sports medicine, minor injury assessment and management, Physical Medicine and Rehab specialist, Pain specialist, Physiotherapy, Massage therapy, In house X-ray access and Casting facility.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive sports medicine services including injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation planning
Manage acute injuries and provide urgent care as needed in a fast-paced environment
Conduct patient evaluations, including history-taking and physical examinations utilizing medical terminology expertise
Oversee pain management strategies tailored to patients' need
Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans
Utilize Telus CHR electronic medical records system for documentation
Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery protocols, and lifestyle modifications
Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while ensuring high-quality patient care across diverse populations

Requirements
· CASEM diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine is preferred
· Good standing with CPSM( or able to get Licensed with CPSM)
· GP focused designation is considered

Very attractive compensation with relocation assistance as well as Work visa if required.
