We are looking to find hard working individuals to join our team as a civil labourer! This roll is highly physical and outdoor year round; your physical effort and technical skills will drive project success. We’re looking for motivated individuals ready to roll up their sleeves, work safely, and contribute to exciting development initiatives. Whether you’re just starting out or bringing some experience, this position provides a rewarding opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Manual digging, moving material, restoring landscaping
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing, grading, and setting up work zones
- Handle heavy materials and equipment safely, ensuring proper rigging and lifting techniques
- Support the operation of heavy equipment such as hydrovacs and dump trucks under supervision
- Perform basic plumbing tasks and organize and identify fittings
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure safety standards are maintained
- Follow safety protocols diligently while assisting with the installation of infrastructure components in oil & gas or other civil projects
Qualifications
- Experience working with a shovel in trenches, ditches and excavation sites
- Ability to work with a team under high stress environments in outdoor environment
- Basic plumbing skills and understanding water systems are advantageous
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to water & gas or civil construction environments
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills and adhere to safety standards at all times
- Prior experience working with heavy machinery or in civil infrastructure projects is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
