We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Line Cook / Prep Cook to join a busy commercial kitchen in Montague, PE. THE JOB
- Prepare ingredients and dish components for daily service
- Cook and plate menu items while working collaboratively with the kitchen team
- Rotate ingredients and food products to ensure freshness and food safety
- Maintain clean and organized workstations, storage areas, and kitchen equipment
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards at all times
- Assist with general kitchen duties as required
REQUIRMENTS
- Previous experience as a Line Cook is required
- Culinary school diploma or current enrollment in a culinary program is considered an asset
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift and to lift and carry up to 50 lbs throughout the workday
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
- Closed-toe, non-slip footwear in good condition is required
