Job Title: On-Call Care Aide/ Home Care Provider
Location: Langley, BC (On-site)
Employment Type: On-Call / Casual (minimum 2hr/shift)
Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Provider to join our team in an on-call capacity. This role is vital in supporting the independence and well-being of our clients across the Tri-City and Lower Mainland areas. You will provide essential assistance with daily living activities, ensuring our clients receive high-quality care in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with grooming, hygiene, and other daily personal care needs.
- Health & Safety: Monitor client health and safety, ensuring a secure living environment at all times.
- Daily Support: Help with meal preparation, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and meaningful companionship to improve the client’s overall quality of life.
- Medication Reminders: Ensure clients are following their prescribed care routines as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven experience in caregiving or elder care; a background in healthcare settings is a significant plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in home care procedures, including personal hygiene and grooming assistance.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and attentive approach to client needs.
- Environment Management: Ability to manage household tasks efficiently and maintain a safe home environment.
- Certifications: First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
