Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated <PERSON> to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry, concrete finishing, and the use of various hand and power tools. This role involves working on diverse projects such as concrete forming, siding installation, and heavy equipment operation. Candidates should have experience reading schematics and blueprints, with a focus on delivering high-quality craftsmanship in both residential and commercial settings. This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging projects that require precision, safety awareness, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction tasks accurately
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related masonry work with attention to detail
- Install siding, framing, and other exterior or interior building components using hand tools and power tools
- Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting, excavation, or material transport as required
- Utilize welding techniques for structural repairs or custom fabrication projects
- Conduct restoration work including repair of existing structures with precision
- Use woodworking skills to create custom fixtures or modifications as needed
- Handle heavy lifting safely to move materials or equipment throughout the job site
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with emphasis on carpentry, concrete finishing, or siding installation
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites and heavy equipment use
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Prior experience in restoration projects is a plus but not mandatory
