Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.00 hourly
Shift Times: Mon-Fri, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Performing general shop housekeeping and upkeep including washing equipment that comes back from field and keeping shop organized, swept and hazard free.
- Performing general maintenance of shop tools and equipment.
- Transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by use of a hand truck.
- Performing general service work that may require operating automated machinery and various power/hand tools.
- Assisting with special projects and covering for multiple positions when staffing levels are low/production or operating demands are accelerated.
- Performing other duties as required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Grade 12 OR GED
- Valid driver’s license class 5
- Ability to stand, climb, bend, and lift up to 50lbs for extended periods of time.
- Reliable – strict adherence to Company attendance standards.
- Basic computer skills, math skills, and be good with numbers.
- Must have own basic hand tools
- General knowledge of tools with mechanical aptitude
- Self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently perform the job productively under tight deadlines.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment screening including a drug & alcohol test, fit for duty test, proof of a valid driver’s license and delivery of a satisfactory and current Driver’s Abstract.
