The Queens Hotel is seeking a full-time experienced line cookto join our kitchen team. We are looking for someone who can work all shiftsand contribute to a collaborative, team-driven kitchen.
Our kitchen operates with a shared leadership approach, where experienced line cooks take on additional responsibilities and work together to keep operations running smoothly. The right candidate will be comfortable not only cooking on the line, but also helping with tasks such as inventory management, menu input and development, and maintaining kitchen organization and standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and executing menu items consistently during service
- Working all shifts in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Assisting with inventory tracking and ordering
- Contributing ideas to menu development and improvements
- Supporting kitchen organization, prep planning, and daily operations
- Collaborating with the team to share responsibilities and maintain quality
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a line cook in a professional kitchen
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform under pressure
- Interest in taking on additional responsibilities beyond the line
- Experience with inventory, menu planning, or kitchen organization is an asset
- Team-oriented and reliable
