Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Financial Controller to lead our financial management team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial processes. Duties
- Manage and supervise the daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant systems to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations and perform thorough account analysis to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly.
- Lead budgeting processes by preparing forecasts, monitoring variances, and providing insightful financial reports to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory regulations, and company policies through diligent review and audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows and improve overall accounting procedures.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports that communicate the organization’s fiscal health clearly and effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Financial Controller or similar senior finance role within a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and experience working with multiple accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing accounts payable/receivable processes, payroll administration, and account reconciliation techniques.
- Strong background in budgeting, financial analysis, and account analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience leading a finance team is highly desirable.
