Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment.
- Perform floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to maintain spotless surfaces.
- Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, and linens efficiently to meet guest needs.
- Ensure all public areas, hallways, and common spaces are tidy, inviting, and well-maintained.
- Follow established cleaning protocols using appropriate janitorial equipment and cleaning agents to uphold safety standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to protect yourself and guests from hazards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by management.
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable but not mandatory; we provide comprehensive training.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and custodial practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate loads, and walking throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude that fosters teamwork and guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment or experience in hotel housekeeping management is a plus but not required.
