Looking for an Accounts Receivable & Payable Clerk to prepare accounts transactions and process customer payments. Create invoices according to company practices and submit them for approval by management. Receive, review, and verify vendor invoices ,Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing work orders into customer invoices
- Prepare and issue customer invoices.
- Process customer payments (cheques, electronic transfers, credit cards).
- Maintain accurate customer records and payment histories.
- Process credit notes, refunds, and account adjustments
- Receive, review, and verify vendor invoices.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Process invoices for payment according to company procedures.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Monitor payment due dates to avoid late fees.
- Answering incoming Phone Calls
- Perform other related administrative tasks as assigned
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Office Administration/Accounting Diploma, or equivalent work experience
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures
- Strong data entry skills along with a knack for working with numbers with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (ERP software)
- Exceptional customer service, communication and negotiation skills required; proficiency in English language skills required.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in in MS Office suite, intermediate excel skills preferred
Must have a positive attitude, be able to multi-task with great attention to detail. Must have strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
