Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and machine accessories
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role
- Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, and various tooling
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls is preferred
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Welding experience is a plus
