Overview
We are seeking friendly, attentive, and professional Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to deliver an exceptional dining experience. This role involves engaging with guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring sanitation standards are maintained. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as CLUSTER POS are highly valued. The position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hospitality skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in setting up tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to assist guests effectively
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and cash transactions
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if needed
