Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, ensuring that vehicles are maintained and repaired to the highest standards. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to read schematics. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Candidates must provide their own toolbox as this is a requirement for the position.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs and maintenance.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot vehicle issues accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections on vehicles.
- Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and recommended services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform heavy lifting as required when handling parts or equipment.

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- Mechanic: 3 years (preferred)
