The Photobooth Event Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring flawless preparation, execution, and wrap-up of events. From keeping our office organized to troubleshooting equipment on-site, this position ensures every activation runs seamlessly and reflects the high standards our clients expect.

>What You'll Actually Be Doing:
No two weeks look the same, but every week matters.
- Prep & test event kits: cameras, tablets, printers, lighting; so every activation launches without a hitch
- Keep the operation tight: manage inventory, pack and unpack kits with precision, maintain an organized office and storage facility
- Handle logistics: coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, keep inventory logs updated in real time
- Hit the road when needed: work live events as part of the crew, setting up, troubleshooting, and delivering incredible guest experiences
- Level up the team: update SOPs, complete product knowledge training, and master new tech as we grow
- Stay connected: communicate with the team and clients via Slack, ClickUp, and Google Workspace to keep everything moving

- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and love keeping things organized
- Are a natural problem-solver: when tech acts up, you figure it out
- Pick up new software and systems quickly (we use ClickUp, Google Workspace, Slack, and more)
- Have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (required)
- Are comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and being on your feet at events
- Are available for the occasional evening, weekend, or out-of-town event
- Have a high school diploma (post-secondary in marketing, events, or communications is a bonus)
- Previous experience in events, logistics, or photography/videography tech? Even better, but we'll train the right person. (Photography skill is a strong asset)
>A Typical Week at MDRN:
While no two weeks are exactly alike, here’s what a typical week might look like (schedule may vary depending on event load and busy seasons:
- Monday: Unpack event kits, reset inventory, sync with the team on weekly priorities
- Tuesday: Test and prep equipment, handle shipments, update inventory logs
- Wednesday: Product knowledge sessions, SOP updates, support team needs
- Thursday: Final kit prep, equipment maintenance, coordinate with the Senior Manager
- Friday: Support live events with setup, guest experience, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Weekend: Work the events if needed.
