What You'll Do
As a member of our Packaging Department, you will be responsible for preparing elevator components for shipment while ensuring every order meets our high quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Packaging elevator components for safe shipment
- Applying stainless steel cladding ("skinning") to elevator doors
- Assembling elevator products and components
- Reading work orders and following assembly instructions
- Performing quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
- Using hand tools safely and effectively
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assisting with other production and packaging duties as required
What We're Looking For
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comfortable using a variety of hand tools
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32"
- Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the day
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Manufacturing, assembly, packaging, or construction experience is considered an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
