Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza & Donair maker to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry, with a focus on pizza preparation and customer service. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a welcoming environment while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Cook pizzas in accordance with safety and quality standards using appropriate kitchen equipment
- Serve customers at the counter or dining area, providing friendly and efficient service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet customer expectations
Skills
- Have 1 to 3 years experience in Pizza and Donair Shop.
- Experience in serving, food preparation, cooking, or food service is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices within the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong attention to detail when preparing meals and maintaining cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration and customer interaction
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
