Job Duties
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Assess the developmental level of children. Prepare progress reports.
- Creative, hard-working team player, energetic, and flexible.
- Establish and maintain Montessori classroom culture, prepare material, and maintain all units of study.
- Develop and implement daily activities for children.
- Nurtures independence, self-esteem, and success in students.
- Classroom management.
- Parent communication.
- Enthusiastic, creative, energetic, and nurturing.
- Ability to teach basic French to Casa students 3 hours per week.
Qualifications
- Accredited Montessori Teacher with MACTE or AMI approved Montessori Diploma in Early Childhood.
- Working childcare experience of at least 3 years (an asset)
- Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, no more than 6 months old.
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
- Up-to-date immunizations.
