Part-Time Commercial Cleaner – Gimli
Workplace Janitorial Services is currently hiring a part-time commercial cleaner for an active position in Gimli, Manitoba.
This position provides approximately 6 to 15 hours of work per week, primarily during weekday evenings and on weekends. Applicants must be regularly available during both of these time periods.
This is commercial cleaning in professional workplaces. It is not residential house cleaning.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities may include:
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms
- Cleaning lunchrooms, offices, entrances, and common areas
- Dusting and wiping accessible surfaces
- Emptying garbage and recycling
- Restocking supplies
- Following cleaning checklists and site instructions
- Using our mobile app to clock in and out, review instructions, and communicate with the company
What We Offer
- Pay of $17.00 to $18.00 per hour

Required Availability
Applicants must be available for:
- Weekday evening shifts
- Weekend shifts
- A part-time schedule that may vary between approximately 6 and 15 hours per week
The work schedule is based on customer-site requirements and is not completely flexible.
Transportation Requirement
Applicants must personally own or lease a reliable vehicle, hold a valid Class 5 driver’s licence, and have the vehicle available for every scheduled shift.
Gimli work locations and evening or weekend shift times are not reliably accessible by public transportation. This position is therefore not suitable for someone who depends on rides from another person to get to and from work.
Before applying, please make sure that commuting to Gimli for short part-time evening and weekend shifts is practical for you.
Mobile Phone Requirement
Applicants must own a smartphone with an active mobile data plan and be comfortable using a company app to:
- Clock in and out
- Receive cleaning instructions
- Complete assigned checklists
- Communicate with supervisors
The Right Candidate

- Is comfortable performing physical cleaning duties
- Can safely lift supplies, bend, reach, vacuum, mop, and remain active throughout a shift
- Takes pride in leaving a workplace clean and ready for the next business day
Previous commercial cleaning experience is helpful but is not required. Training will be provided.
