Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on construction sites and performing manual labor. Helping load shingles on the roof, and help unload load materials off trucks. Must be comfortable from working from heights.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading bundles of shingles
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks
- Use hand tools and equipment effectively
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines on-site
- Work collaboratively with the construction team
- Must have Transportation
-SCOT & FALL PROTECTION certs required
Skills
- Experience in caulking, carpentry, or general roofing work is preferred
- Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Familiarity with blueprint reading is a plus
- Maintenance Person skills for general repairs and maintenance are advantageous
- Willingness to learn and build skills on the job
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal
Pay: $18.50-$25.68 per hour
