Position Overview:
As the Cannabis Retail Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail location, ensuring excellent customer service, compliance with regulations, and the overall success of the store. You will manage a team of sales associates, develop and implement sales strategies, and ensure a high standard of product knowledge and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Supervise and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets, maintain product knowledge, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Inventory Management: Oversee product inventory, including receiving shipments, tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and ensuring proper storage and handling.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure all customers have a positive, informative, and respectful shopping experience. Resolve customer concerns and provide guidance on product selections.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to local cannabis regulations, store policies, and safety procedures to ensure compliance and a safe shopping environment.
- Sales & Marketing: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, including promotions, events, and community engagement.
- Staff Development & Training: Hire, train, and develop team members to excel in their roles and foster a positive store culture.
- Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations, including cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and reporting sales and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail management experience, preferably in cannabis, beverage, or a similar regulated industry - Preferred but not required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, inspire, and develop a team.
- Knowledge of cannabis products and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and solve problems effectively.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Must be 19 years or older and able to pass a background check.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance with local cannabis laws and regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.50 per hour
