Dosa Den is a vegetarian South Indian Restaurant located in Brampton. The employees work together towards a common goal of providing fresh vegetarian food and friendly service to its customers. The restaurant has a calm homey ambience where customers can come in to dine alone, or with friends and family! We are looking for a chef/dosa maker/kitchen helper who has a passion for the food industry and hospitality and is available for the long term. Job description
Work Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Past experience in working with South Indian Cuisine, especially making Dosa is highly appreciated
- Educational history in hospitality and culinary arts preferred but not required
Skills
- Skills needed to handle, prep, and package foods in South Indian Cuisine including making dosa and prepping curries and toppings
- Willing to learn new things
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Other tasks as required in the kitchen
Expectations
- To prepare ingredients according to the chef's guidelines
- Clean up and dishwashing for pots and pans
- General help in kitchen and preparation area

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
