Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator / Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing marketing activities, managing brand communications, creating marketing content, supporting product launches, coordinating trade shows and events, and strengthening customer engagement across foodservice and retail markets.
This is a marketing-focused role with no direct sales responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team by providing marketing materials, campaigns, and customer-focused content.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a monthly marketing calendar covering product launches, seasonal campaigns, foodservice initiatives, retail promotions, and trade shows.
- Create and coordinate marketing content, including social media posts, product photography, videos, recipes, application content, and promotional materials.
- Manage company social media channels and ensure consistent brand communication.
- Develop marketing materials for bakeries, food manufacturers, distributors, retail customers, and private-label opportunities.
- Coordinate new product launches, including product descriptions, images, catalogues, sell sheets, samples, email campaigns, and social media promotions.
- Manage email marketing campaigns and customer segmentation through Odoo.
- Maintain accurate product information, images, specifications, and marketing content across all platforms.
- Support trade shows and events, including booth preparation, samples, marketing materials, customer lists, and post-event follow-up.
- Prepare private-label presentations and marketing materials for customers and business partners.
- Monitor marketing performance, including campaign results, social media engagement, email performance, website activity, and lead generation.
- Prepare monthly marketing reports and recommendations.
- Ensure consistent Chocoland branding across catalogues, social media, packaging presentations, email campaigns, and events.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of marketing experience preferred.
- Experience in food, bakery, manufacturing, distribution, or B2B marketing is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
Skills & Experience
- Social media management and content creation.
- Canva or similar graphic design tools.
- Basic photography and video editing.
- Email marketing and CRM platforms.
- Experience with Odoo ERP/CRM is an asset.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Pay: $42,339.85-$50,000.00 per year
